Next up Phill meets Karl Eggenhuizen from Tow Ed and also General Manager where he chats with Karl in Mundi Mundi. Karl grew up in the back of a car and has been towing many years.

The course is $645 for 2 people in the car and takes you through an accredited course and takes you through weights which is done on line and then the practical course.

Before the practical they go through the videos and books and then go through your setup and manoeuvres and reversing to get you safely into your spot at a caravan park.

Tow-Ed is part of our family business. Soon after John and Julie Eggenhuizen started Getabout 4WD training courses, they recognised there was another real need in the driving community – safe, successful towing. So 15 years ago Tow-Ed was born.

Combining their expertise in towing caravans, trailers, 5th wheelers, horse floats and boats, John and Julie (often known simply as ‘The Eggys’) devised their specialised towing training programs. And they’ve been providing high-quality, practical on-road instruction ever since.

With the personal touch you’d expect of the Getabout family, Tow-Ed is all about giving you the confidence to enjoy your travels while towing. It’s something John and Julie feel passionate about.

“There are lots of different ways to discover Australia’s great outdoors. We want to help as many people as possible to feel safe and secure about heading out on an adventure – wherever you want to go.”

This is a beneficial course for those that have never towed or new to towing and also for those that need to have a refresher course. https://www.tow-ed.edu.au/
