Here’s a little about us. Hi, it’s Phill and Lyn here. We’re not quite grey nomads yet, but we are out and about on the road touring our great country. We like to see everything there is out there but sometimes our fur baby limits our reach.
We left the hurry of Sydney and moved up to the Mid Coast of NSW to enjoy the relaxed lifestyle. We aim to be out and about 6 to 8 months a year, long trips and nice short ones.
While we are touring we record interviews with businesses and people that we meet. We interview other travellers on the road and their setups and where they’ve been. Phill has been presenting on radio for nearly 6 years. He has an all Aussie music show that he has now taken on the road. You can listen to us live.
Lyn has done many a trip overseas but has now decided to see more of our great country. Phill has done and seen a lot along the east coast of Australia but has yet to see the West.
About Phill
His first trips were unprepared and not equipped in the early 70’s, they ended with not getting across the Nullabour. Stopping at Port Augusta driving a Station Wagon, equipped with curtains and mattress. Later attempting to drive up to Mossman as the roads were dirt and corrugated.
Our setup
Now we have a little more luxury, a 76 series Toyota V8 Landcruiser towing a Vacationer rough Rider 19ft van. It has solar panels and all the other mod cons. There are people out there with a much better setups than us. We are comfortable and go between a van park to the freedom of bush camping for a more relaxed feel.
