On the show we featured Kev Goodbun from Nanango, who was a walk up artist. Next we had Kev “Dubbo” Turner a long time attendee at the Bony Mountain Festival and also walk up artist and Norma O’Hara Murphy who runs the Bony Mountain Folk Festival
Hi Phil- it was great to meet you! and well done on your Internet Radio-and all your good work to support our little Country and Folk Festivals. Our Festival here began in 2011-so we are now at year 13- heading for our 14th Festival in 2024. Do let me know if you need anymore of my music Catalouge! as I have 16 Albums- and a large body of songs out there. My latest release is Kosciuszko I hope you have your copy, when the actual CD is released I’ll send you a copy! I trust you enjoyed our selection of Bands-Artists- Poets-I personally thought our line up this year was one of our best? It is exciting bringing in new Bands like (Open Season) – (Barleyshakes) -and supporting up & comings like Andy Penkow- as well as some local Legends- two people we invite every year, Dubbo Turner & Eunice Payne, both in their eighties, it is a real highlight for them they look forward to their performance every year! Bony Mountain is very much a real Community/Family Festival, and we are very proud of our (Little Festival in the bush) .

I have put the dates in our calendar for next year. have you got all your artists sorted for next year yet ? I met some really talented artists at Nanango and Texas “ie”
Amy Ryan a 14 year old with heaps of talent and appearing at Birdsville Bash next year and Justin Standley both would be suitable for your audience. You might even consider Ross Web and the Rusted Track I met these boys at Music In The Mulga.
As far as your music is concerned I would love a copy of Kosciuszko and any other CDs you’d like to send to me and I will add them to a country rotation list .
In regard to a promo for Bony Mountain yes for sure send one to me and I’ll use when promoting your event next year.
