On this episode we have parked up for a week on the Murray River. We have found a great spot by the river and met some lovely people here. Our first chat in this area is with Rod. He is a regular visitor to the area and loves any opportunity to camp by the Murray River.

There is so much to see and do in the area. Take a visit to the National Trust Byramine Homestead to see the former home of one of Australia’s earliest pioneers, Elizabeth Hume, take a wander through the 100 year old homestead at the Rich Glen Olives farm gate store. Explore the Sun Country on the Murray Farm Gate Trail, take a cruise on Lake Mulwala to experience the tranquil waters and glorious landscapes.

We take a drive out from Yarrawonga along the North East Silo Trail. Our first stop is Tungamah, This was the first silo to be painted in this area and also the first female artist. Next silo town to visit is Devenish, this depicts the military service provided by the community. We also take a stop at Goorambat, here Phill chats to local Allan Saunders who is also a volunteer and tells us about the artist and the paintings. https://www.visitvictoria.com/Regions/High-Country/Things-to-do/Touring-routes-and-itineraries/North-East-Victoria-Silo-Art-Trail
