Its the start of our trip, 3 months on the road. We left our home town on the Mid North Coast NSW and headed south. Our first overnight stop was at Bulahdelah Bowls Club. Powered and non powered sites available out the back $5pp a night and $5 for power. There are 8 powered sites to choose from and many more non powered sites to choose from as the are is quite large. Also for your fees there is a toilet and shower available as well as a bbq area. You can also choose to eat in at the restaurant or enjoy a nice icy cold beer. Phill chatted with Allan Friehaurt/ Secretary Manager about the town of Bulahdelah, things to see and do and his low cost camping options. For more information go to their website https://bulahdelahbowlingclub.com.au.

Our next stop on our journey is Ingenia Caravan Park at Mannering Park. A nice park on Lake Maquarie. Sites are nice and flat and the ammenities were great. There is a jumping castle for the kids as well as a great camp kitchen and pool. Plenty of day trips at this central location to Newcastle, The Hunter and the Central Coast. We stopped into Caves Beach and Phill had a chat with James and Alex, local surf lifeguards and spoke about the dangers and things to look out for when entering the surf. https://www.cavesslsc.com.au

We ventured on a short way to Wyong and stopped into see Stephen at Shamrock Caravan Repairs. This is a family owned business that has been going 10 years in all things caravans. Repairs and Insurance work, logbook service and rego checks. Phill and Steve chat about all things caravans. Check out their website https://www.shamrockcaravanworkshop.com.au/

Our journey now takes us through Sydney with our next stop on our adventures. We park up at the Corrimal Beach Tourist Park. Nice tidy park and dog friendly (seasonal) right on the ocean. A short walk to the beach or take the great bike/walking track that links you to other beaches along the coast. We met a lovely couple Karen and Mark who own a Iveco Sunliner Habitat 1 Motorhome, named It’l Do. Karen and Mark take Phill through their home on wheels and check out the great storage and added extras.

We end the show with a few things to see and do down around Wollongong. We took a drive to Nan Tien Temple and a drive to Kiama is not to be missed, the blow hole is a feature that all tourists stop into see. It performs best on windy and high swell days.
