This is the third week of Port Macquarie, its a great town to visit and only 5 hours from Sydney, with so much to see and do. We have only just scratched the surface so take the time to visit.
On this weeks show our first stop is to a Bago Winery and maze. Phill chats with Ian as he tells us all about their family run business.
Wander, run and get lost in the Bago Maze. A magical place for all to seek out hidden walkways, sunken pathways, musical instruments, with beautifully landscaped gardens and two lookout towers to take in the serenity.
Bago is the family farm that has gradually grown through hard work into a spectacular green space that can be shared and enjoyed by your whole family.
In 1985 Jim and Kay Mobbs planted the first Chardonnay vines on the alluvial flats of their extensive property in the Hastings River Region on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales. Thus Bago Vineyards was born.
Bago is a working family farm with a vineyard and winery, pastures, crops and beef cattle and is very much invested into developing its green space for the future. Bago Maze is the first and central element of the planned Bago Gardens, which they will be developing and growing over the next few years.
the addewss is Milligans Road (off Bago Road) Wauchope, NSW, 2446, Australia
Bago Maze and Winery is a hidden gem within the picturesque coastal Australian bush. Located 35 minutes from Port Macquarie CBD, a short scenic drive from the Pacific Highway down Milligans Road (off Bago Road). Drive through towering Eucalyptus Forest, which opens out to rolling countryside and acres of vines, be ready for an adventure worth having!
