We continue on this show with the second part to Silverton, there are so many fascinating people that we chatted too that there was too much for one show.
Our first stop when we arrived in to town was the Silverton Hotel. We caught up and had a chat with Peter and Patsy They take us through their time there and the hotel as a result of a dream, coming from South Australia, with Peter in the plumbing industry. The hotel serves great pub meals and also has accomodation available, live music and of course a cold ale or two. Its a must visit if you are out this way. http://silvertonhotel.com.au/

Our next stop in SIlverton was to stop in and chat with artist John Dynon, or Dyno to his mates. John’s studio in a corregated shed, brightly coloured with many unusual pieces adorning the walls. He is also known as the emu man, painting emus as part of his works.
In 1985 he became a full time artist to meet the demand that had grown for his paintings.
John paints the Outback, its flowers, its unique colours and some of its more interesting features. https://www.store.johndynon.com.au/

The next stop on our Silverton visit is The Mad Max II Museum. Even if you are not a fan, there is so much to see in this gallery. It is amazing, from photos taken at filming to recordings and also written information around the walls,, You could spend hours here. Phill chats with Adrian, who had a dream and moved his family from the other side of the world to SIlverton in the outback to make his dream come true.https://silverton.org.au/experience/attractions/mad-max-museum/embed/#?secret=Aau45j6RtR
