On the show this week we chat with Aidan Saggers from 7 Street Caravans in Heatherbrae.  He is talking us through the various models of the Hurricane caravans.  Its a new van to their existing range and the manufacturer had the fore sight of getting orders in early for products to outfit the vans and not have as long a turn around.

Check out the vans on location or though their website.

Hurricane caravans are built in Melbourne to Australian Standards with our design and input into the colours and inclusions. We are using as much local content as possible. This range is traditionally built on a G & S chassis. Using all the latest technology to give you the best luxury style caravans. In order to maintain excellent quality, every Hurricane goes through a comprehensive testing and checking procedure. Hurricane caravans come with a two-year structural warranty. https://7thstreetcaravans.com.au/

We take a trip to the Mid North Coast of NSW and visit Tiona Holiday Park.  Margaret the Manager and Co Owner talks us through the park and what is available,

This park is well situated only a short drive from Forster and you have the best of both worlds staying at this park.  On one side you have the ocean and the other side the lake.

Tiona Holiday Park is set in a beautiful location in Pacific Palms, New South Wales.

The holiday park makes for a convenient and tranquil stay, nestled between the white sands of Seven Mile Beach, the cabbage tree palm-studded shores of Wallis Lake and spectacular Booti Booti National Park.

Their location offers plenty of picturesque views as well as a range of activities and attractions for the whole family to enjoy.

There is also a large range of accommodation available, from van sites, to glamping tents, cabins, family cabins and villas, the choice is yours.

Tiona has a range of powered sites, slab sites and pet friendly sites. They also offer campfire friendly sites throughout the autumn and winter months, conditions do apply.

They are quite large in distance with locations on either side of The Lakes Way coastal road. Please download the map to look at the different areas within the property where you may like to stay.

They also cater to all sizes of vehicles, however, due to the rustic nature of our property you may like to discuss any RV requirements with our front desk prior to booking.

Also the filming of Daryl Braithwaites Horses was filmed along the beaches in Booti Booti National Park.

We once again catch up and chat with Jeff DeAth and more informative information and the pitfalls of extra weight we carry in the vehicles.

1.The draws we carry in the back of the car and also we fill them with all these extra things that you never use.

2. Fridges and fridge slides. Do you need to carry such a big fridge? Where it is positioned.

3. Batteries, an extra weight that is needed to then power the fridge. Also where are they located, generally all on the one side of the vehicle.

4.Awnings,which is another thing that also goes on the left hand side of the car

5.Tools or too many tools, that you may not need. Or are you just taking them to look good.
