This weeks show has us starting in Trangie in Western NSW. We are visiting the Truck and Tractor Show which is held every 2 years.. https://narromineregion.com.au/trangietruck
Phill is chatting with Paul McCallum who is the principal owner of Inland Petroleum.
This company is the major sponsor of the Trangie Truck and Tractor Show. This truck is amazing worth over $1.5 m dollars. This company deals with the Western NSW delivering fuel to these country towns. The truck is classified as an A train coming in at 90 tonne. The cabin has the onboard weighing system on board to check the weight and the truck has 12 axels. The computer system on board has electronic log books that can be tracked on mobile phones and the truck will do over half of million km’s a year. Its the first year Inland Petroleum has been major sponsor. Its a great event to get the community out and about and catch up with old mates.

Next on the show has us down the south of NSW at Table Top and visiting the Ettamogah Pub. There were 4 of these originally but its now down to two.
Phill has a great chat with Brendan who tells us a little about the pub, history and what is available.
The pub was built by businessman Lindsay Cooper and first opened in 1987. The aim was to create a themed family restaurant which would become a tourist attraction. The timber building featured sloping walls and a distinctive architectural style true to the original cartoon design.
In 2007, the hotel in Albury opened 17 new cabins for accommodation. The site also houses the Ken Maynard Museum and an artwork collection. On site there is availability to camp with with your van or motorhome, function room facilities, the iconic bar in the pub and a restaurant, we found the pub to be very dog friendly and Brendan cam rushing out with a bowl of water for our furbaby.

We head to Forster and chat with Adam and Amelie at Forster Dive Centre. Phill chats with them both, about their background where Adam is a local and Amelie is from France where she did her training and moving here. Amelie actually taught Adam to dive, and he is also a boat captain.
They have also teaching people with special needs. Adam has a brother that has Downs Syndrome and teaching not only his brother but other special needs to learn to dive and using the scuba gear. Adam’s brother now loves being in the water and snorkelling and it has helped with him being more focused and as one student has said we are the same as you under the water.
Check them out in Forster. https://www.forsterdivecentre.com.au/Forster-Dive-Centre.html

Next on the show we meet Neil at the CMCA Camp Ground at Railton. Neil and his wife have been the custodians for a few weeks, parked up in their beautiful bus with car in tow. Here they can be stationed and do many short trips from their location. the custodian is like a caretaker who comes around of an evening taking any monies owed, maintains the grounds, joins in at Happy Hour and one great thing the gates are locked at night. Neil gives us a rundown on the bus and his magnificent solar set up
Railton is a wonderful little country town for those that have not been there made popular due to the topiary down the streets and gardens.
