We are still in at Burren Junction and Phill meets Annie and Eric fellow travellers that have stopped in at the bore baths.

Annie and Eric moved to Australia 35 years ago from England and settled in Perth for the weather.

There rig is a Sunliner motor home 8m long. Fully equipped for those long trips on the road and they also pull a small car behind so they can do day trips. They have had the setup for 4 years, They have only been on the road for around 6 weeks and heading to Cooktown in Northern Queensland.

Next on the show we meet Mel who runs the cafe in Bollon. Bollon is 113km’s west of St George in Southern Queensland.

You can find the cafe open early if your travelling through to stop for a coffee or a snack. You will find fresh baked cakes as she is up early of a morning cooking.

There is also lunch options available and the favourite hot chips.

Next up we head out to Thargomindah and Phill meets Anthony “Boy” Turnball. Anthony has a market stall selling handmade Aboriginal Art and his business is called Whichway Art Creations.

Anthony was taught painting back when he was 16 in Toowoomba. Anthony learnt the tradition Ochre colours, white, yellow red and black.

With Anthony’s artwork he now uses more colour but keeps the animals in the traditional colours.
