On the show this week we first chat with Geoff DeAth. Jeff talks us through some things you need to be aware of with Landcruisers. Landcruisers 200 series is the most popular car that Jeff has weighed, This car has a poor payload that people are not aware off. By the time you add passengers and fuel you are close to you weight restrictions. Be mindful of other additions to your vehicle, bull bar, side steps, roof rack, tyres and the list goes on.

We also parked the van up at Denman at the free camp next to the Royal Hotel and chat with Ben and his daughter Poppy, they chat with Phill and tell him where they are travelling to. They were heading up to the North Coast of NSW where the areas suffered from the recent flooding and what they are going to do to help out. He also explains about his 80’s style caravan which he has made some changes for the family of 6 and their dog Dusty.

Phill, Ben, Poppy and the family

Whilst in Denman check out the Royal Hotel, they provide excellent free camping on the side, gravel slabs for your van, also there are showers and toilets and even a washing machine and dryer for a small fee. Take yourself over to the hotel and have a drink or better still have a lovely meal from the bistro. There is plenty of outdoor seating or the wrap around verandah. Phill has a chat with Mel who tells him a few more things about the hotel and Denman.

Next on the show we catch up with Mick Byrne at the Newcastle Caravan show, he tells us about the RV Caravan Repairs and Servicing which is part of 7 Street Caravans. Mick is the manager and has had over 30 years experience in the caravan industry.  Call in for all your repair needs.
